The Function Room

If you’re looking for an ideal place to hold your special event, The Marple Sports Club Function Room is arguably the largest and best appointed room in the area.

With a flexible capacity for up to 180 of your guests, easy access from the car park, serviced by a well stocked bar. Mood lighting and the use of a projection and sound system with a giant screen are available. There is also access to our terrace which offers attractive views over the cricket field and beyond, a wonderful location for admiring the sun set.

The room is available all year round and is an excellent place for any event. Our most popular bookings consist of Birthday Parties, Wedding Receptions, Christening, Funeral Wakes and Conferences and much more, so whatever your event, we are confident that we can cater for it.

As a community hub, we are also periodically organise events open to the general public, so please keep an eye on the calendar on this website, and of course our Facebook Page for all the latest events. Details of events can also be found on the noticeboard at the bottom of the driveway if you happen to be wandering past.

We also offer a discounted room hire rate for our members who have to held a membership for at least 12 months.
