Marple Cricket
Marple Cricket Club is a welcoming, vibrant, friendly, sociable and competitive club with sides playing in the Cheshire County League, the Cheshire League and the Derbyshire and Cheshire Cricket League. So there is opportunities for players of all abilities.
At Bowden Lane in Marple, Stockport since the 1950’s, we boast six senior teams, four playing on Saturdays and two on Sundays and an Over 40’s team that plays on Wednesdays throughout the Year.
There is a strong, thriving Junior Section with plenty of opportunity for young players to develop their skills supported by a team of excellent coaches. The club fields mixed gender teams across all age groups, and has a growing girls section. With the love of cricket starting with the ever popular All Stars for age 5-8.
Marple has a strong focus on a youth development pathway and through the use of two grounds the Club provides plenty of opportunity for juniors to make the transition into senior cricket.
New players are very welcome. Senior training is every Tuesday and Thursday evening at Bowden Lane from 5.30pm
