The Bar Area

The Bar at Marple Sports Club is open during the evenings and weekends throughout the year.

During the summer months, you can choose to join us for a refreshing drinks with a choice of lagers, bitters, real ale, carefully selected wines and spirits and of course soft drinks. Sit in the bar area on cooler days or on warmer days enjoy sitting in the sunshine on our large terrace area overlooking the cricket pitch, ideal for watching the cricket matches on those warm weekends.

Unfortunately, the inevitable happens, but on the cooler days or winter season you can still pop in for a drink. Bring or meet the family, or being a friendly club, just pop in for a drink with us.

One thing that we have all year round is live sports, shown on our two TV’s in the bar area and (if available) the five meter HD projector screen in the function room. We are constantly screening live football from the Premier League and International competitons, to live cricket and much more.

Marple Sports Club is the ideal place to play sports, or just to socialise in the local area close to the centre of the town.

You don’t have to become a member to visit us, however joining will give you the benefit of receiving a discounted rate on drinks and snacks from the bar. More details on our membership packages can be found on our “Memebrship Options” page.
